John of God accepts prayer requests from people who can’t come to Abadiania. Some of the guides, and other people there are willing to do it for others.

He likes to know your name, birth date, and address. And then the request.
These requests are put in various locations at the Casa de Dom Inacio

if someone is going to take in front of John of God, a picture is good. He may prescribe blessed herbs for you. These cost around $25. There are people who will do this for you and ship them to you for a service fee. They are not directly connected to the Casa.

December and January are in the rainy system.

I love it in Abadiania in the rainy season.. Everything is very green (in the dry season, it is brown and a bit dusty)… And the rain gives a break in the heat.

When it isn’t raining, in can be hot out in the sun, and hot at night. This year it is unusually cool. Most nights I have needed to have something on that is slightly warm to warm. Very unusual, but very pleasant. Since the weather has been unusual all over the world, its hard to know if that will be normal.

Also lots of fireflies in some of the fields.

Other years, it was a lot warmer at night, sometimes too warm enough that you would want/need a fan (not all of the pousadas and rental houses supple fans for their guests). And a hat is a must if you are walking around much on the sunny days, the sun can be intense.

The last week in December is a wonderful time to see John of God.

Why? Its very quiet. The pousadas (hotels) are quiet, the Casa de Dom Inacio is quiet. Currents are shorter, and the energy is more peaceful.

How long should you spend with John of God at the Casa de Dom Inacio? That is a good question, and a difficult one to answer.

many Brazilians come long distances and only spend one day here, Two or three is they are lucky (for many of them it can be a 20-30 hour bus ride!
I would recommend at least the full 3 days. Arrive by Tuesday, go to the orientation Tuesday night, and spend Wed-Friday at the Casa. If you can do 2 Casa weeks (two Wed-Friday) it is even better. I usually spend 3-4 Casa weeks.
If you get spiritual surgery you can leave the next day, but it is much better if you can rest fro at least 30 hours. if you get surgery, you first go in front of him, and he earliest you would have surgery is normally the next session (there is a morning and afternoon session each day). So it would be 30 hours after the second session.

I am in Rio for a few days before my 9th visit to John of God. As I have said before, it is much better to do any sightseeing before you go to Abadiania. Afterwards, if you have had surgery, there is no sex, and no alcohol for 40 days. Even if that is not a problem for you, you may find you are more sensitive after your time in Abadiania. Rio tends to seem loud and intense to me afer being in Abadiania, and fun and interesting if I go berfore I go to see John of God.

Your healing and transformation can start before you ever actually get to the Casa Dom Inacio. As usual, we felt the effects before we left home, and much stronger since we reached Brazil.

I am on my way back to Abadiania.

We have stopped in Rio de Janeiro for a few days. In August the weather in Rio is very changeable. It’s been in the mid 70’s during the day, and low 60’s at night.

Its not the time to go to Rio if you are looking for hot beach weather and huge crowds.

It is a good time if you want it to be more relaxed, especially on week days.

 

 

“John of God”  will  have one of his rare visits to the United States in October.

I am sure (do to the restrictive laws on healers in the US) that he will not be able to do his physical surgeries, but I am sure it will be great.  Personally, I only participate in the “invisible” surgeries ( that is he never physically touches you) in Brazil; and they are very powerful.
